Travelling is always a great pleasure, and long drives though tiring even become attractive, if the road to be travelled is one that is worth seeing. Many countryside boasts of their long, winding, tree-lined roads, fit to be featured in any photography magazine. Sometimes, though, travelling can be tiresome, like when it is sunny and there is the heavy traffic to be dealt with. If it is tiresome for the passengers, then imagine how difficult it can be for the driver. Not only is he extremely uncomfortable, he also faces the very serious threat of dehydration. So, to address this, better make some room for a large beverage cooler in the car. This versatile cooler can be used for many purposes, such as picnics or a family outing. If it’s an outing with friends, then it can even keep the beer cold, ready for your thirsty throats when you finally get to your destination, or even before. Won’t a very cold beer be nice during a very long, hot trip? Wherever and whenever you feel the need to drink up, a cold bottle of soda can be made readily available. Without the proper provisions for refreshments, the mood of the traveling party can sometimes be affected, sometimes even ruined. Wouldn’t you be upset if you were caught in traffic for a couple of hours when you can be doing something else that is far more enjoyable? There is really no need for this upset since a large beverage cooler can accommodate dozens of cold beverages. This way, you can most certainly smell the roses.

My best friend from college and I have stayed together over the years. We had boyfriends together, got broken hearted together, and finally got married and even ended up being neighbors! Not next-door neighbors which would have been very ideal for us, but a few houses away. We take turns in hosting dinners and lunches, though she sometimes says I am on the losing end since her family is bigger. I don’t mind, really, I just love having her and the family over. We love to travel together, of course with the family, and our husbands and children have naturally become close, too. We always have our annual out-of-town affair, which is always special for both of us. She has a big family with four kids, and I just have one boy – though I swear sometimes it feels like I have six sons on my hand! Anyway, whenever we travel or go to the park, we always bring our folding wooden picnic table, which comes very handy, indeed.

We love spending time together, that’s why we both invested in some picnic backpacks and supplies. The hours of fun and laughter more than make up for the amount we have paid for each of our picnic tables. Sometimes, we just picnic at each other’s lawn with a nice pitcher of lemonade, or play cards, or just people watch, when we have nothing else to do. I wonder if there’s a folding picnic table which can sit six? That will be ideal for my best friend! I need to start looking now for Christmas!
