At the heart of the hustle and bustle of this busy city of New York lies Central Park. Contrary to the highly publicized scandals and robberies along some of its areas, the rest of Central Park can be safe and worry free. This why New Yorkers should maximize the privileges that the park offers – an abundance of shady trees, a running brook, mini bridges and lots of freshly mown grass. In a nutshell, the Central Park offers a great place to host a picnic.
This is why all New Yorkers should consider picnic baskets as staple gadgets that need to be in their closets or kitchen. In true New York fashion, however, these should be unique picnic baskets. None of those country staples! This city prides itself on its sophistication; hence, picnic baskets should be just as sophisticated. In fact, they should probably not even be called that. In New York, these are more commonly known as called wine totes.
While the common notion of a picnic is a checkered blanket laden with all kind of home-cooked food, in New York, a picnic has to be less stressful to prepare, quicker to set up and faster to consume. People can only spare a few short moments in their busy days to have a picnic. A New York Wine Tote typically contains wine, cheese, cold cuts and fruit – all conveniently store bought. The idea is to be able to get away for a moment, recharge with some fresh air. This tote will be perfect for a short but special lunch with your special someone.

It’s almost Valentine’s Day. What plans did you make for you and your special someone? There are probably a lot of things you wish you could do on Valentine’s Day but decided not to. A key to having a perfect Valentine’s Day is to spend it with your loved one and to keep it simple, no lavish hullabaloo. It can be a nice stroll in New York or be somewhere new and have a picnic.
You can spend it in an expensive restaurant and eat one of the best desserts to share or a healthy meal. You can even pig out on steaks and the like, but it will only be special if you do it with your loved one. A real Valentines date doesn’t necessarily have to be at a restaurant. You can simply dine at home and still make it a day to remember. Cook the whole meal, from appetizers to dinner and desserts. Your love will surely remember that and would think she really is special for you. Wash the dishes with her, help each other and end the day with wine and more of the dessert you just had, it will be gastronomically beautiful.
Valentine’s doesn’t mean you have to spend your whole life saving just for a day. It can still be as romantic as a date in a fancy restaurant by just bringing along unique picnic baskets and wine totes in a park. Better yet, your New York Wine Tote. The night would be special anyway you plan it, simple or grand, expensive or cheap, for as long as you spend it with your love.

Wine is an alcoholic drink associated with the rich and famous. It is made of grape juice that has been fermented for years and is served in all occasions, may it be birthdays, weddings, anniversary or any type of party. Most of the time, it is even considered as the beer of rich people.
There are several different species of grapes used as the main ingredient for wine. Among these is the vitis vinifera, the one used in Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot.
A lot of people collect memorabilia of the things they love. Such includes jewelry, shoes, clothes and for some others, wine bottles. The more it ages, the greater it tastes, so they say. For those who collect wine, they usually have wine cellars with right temperature to suit the bottled wines’ taste. That is why opening an aged bottle of wine is always a heartbreak at the same time a relief for the owners.
Wine is always in the picture when a man proposes to his sweetheart. Sometimes, the ring itself is placed onto the bottle or submerged in the glass. But for normal situations, the couple would just end the date with a toast.
To make it more exciting some people chooses to propose during a picnic, right at the picnic table. This is made possible by bringing wine totes and insulated picnic basket filled with food along with them.
The Bahamas sunset wine cooler is very useful during these occasions. Your sweetheart would really appreciate your effort in asking her to marry you the most creative way. You might even get a yes for all we know.

Would it have been on top of a moving glacier that the athlete would celebrate his unanimous victory with no other than his loved one? Or would it have been exciting to celebrate that victory at the end of a crowded football field? Or would it have been breathlessly celebrated at the summit of brooding Mount Everest? Of course, they shared a delicate glass of bubbly champagne carried by a one of a kind wine carrier.
Turning those unique celebrations into reality is to think of a way of transporting those rare and expensive two bottles of wine all the way. It makes one think of the sunset deluxe wine carrier. This wine tote is an elegant, well-crafted and inexpensive means of lugging expensive cargo (the wine, of course) through any kind of weather anywhere in the world. Aside from wine glasses, the upscale and chic sunset deluxe wine carrier has a waiter’s corkscrew included for convenience so there would be no need to be groping for one when it is time to pop the bottle. Also, it includes a wine stopper and a thermometer to boot, just as it would be needed wherever.
And supposing, someone would want to make a good impression with his boss somewhere in the golf course or even while fishing on the lake, the sunset deluxe wine carrier will surely win points from the boss and do the job … Now it would be up to him just what wine to add to complete this unique picnic basket.

Picnics are for everyone. They are for the young and old alike and should be enjoyed every day! You can fit a picnic
into your everyday life. You could take an hour out of your busy working day to sit in the park with a picnic basket full of gorgeous food. You could stop on the way home from a long trip to sit and have a picnic lunch. The options are endless. Kids in particular love picnics. They like the excitement of sitting outside while eating. But in order to have a great picnic experience you will need the picnic accessories to go with it. The main accessory you will need is a picnic basket. It will depend on how many people you are feeding as to how much food you put it in. You can buy all sorts of different baskets, collapsible ones, ones with plates, you can even buy ones with wine cooler sections. After the picnic basket is sorted you will need a blanket to sit on. Try to find a blanket with a plastic backing so that you can lay it on wet ground. This is also quite handy in muddy areas too. Finally you need a picnic table umbrella. Being in the shade will mean that you can enjoy your picnic more because you won’t be worrying about getting too hot or sunburn. There is nothing nicer than lounging under a picnic umbrella on a comfortable blanket eating food outside while watching the world go by. So go on, have your perfect picnic today!

Since my kids have left home my marriage has become much stronger. Maybe it’s the fact that the kids were always a distraction or maybe it’s because we have more time for each other now but we are closer than ever.
We always go out on walks in the evening and day trips to museums and art galleries. We were never able to go to these places with our kids because they always used to either moan the whole way round or break something! Don’t get me wrong I love my children to bits but being an adult again instead of a parent is quite a nice feeling.
For our anniversary my husband decided to take me on a surprise trip. I didn’t have a clue where we were going. All he told me was to wear comfortable shoes! So off we went in the car to the mystery spot. When we got there we had to hike up this great big hill that took about half an hour but when we were at the top it was well worth it. The view over the city was breathtaking and worth the blisters. Just when I thought the evening couldn’t get any better my husband brought out our meritage wine and cheese tote for two. The wine tote was fully equipped with my favorite white wine and glasses! We had our own little picnic with our wonderful picnic tote and we drank the evening away while watching the sunset. It was by far the most romantic thing he has ever done for me. I can’t wait to see what he’ll do next year!
